Leyton Orient Supporters Club

E10 5NF

Cork Branch

The Cork branch of the supporters club was set up in 1997 and our first get together at club headquarters, the Gaelic bar in Carrigaline (7miles from Cork city) was to watch Peter Shilton’s 1000th league match.

Since that first meeting, our membership numbers have been consistently between 35 and 45.

Every year we organise a trip to Brisbane Road, usually towards the end of the season, with between 8 and 12 members travelling. We are always given a great welcome at the club and we find that once a person travels over, they come on the trip every year after that, such is the hospitality shown to us by everyone.

We also had an organised trip from the supporters club at Brisbane Road to us here in Carrigaline about 10 years ago now and everyone that travelled said they a great weekend.

Several players have dropped in to us here also over the years including Mattie Lockwood, Scott Barrett, Chris Tate and Dean Smith (more than once). Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons is when we meet up so we can have a pre-match and post-match get-together.

If any members of LOSC want to drop in on our meetings, then you’d be more than welcome – drop me an email first to make sure we’re around: ourfin1@hotmail.com
